BIRGIT HARTMANN
About Birgit
I am Birgit Hedwig Hartmann, a trauma-informed transformational life coach who helps women reclaim their voice, rebuild their self-worth, and rise into authentic power — guiding them from silence to sovereignty.
My journey began as a “Kriegsenkel” (war grandchild) in Germany, shaped by narcissistic parents and a family system steeped in generational trauma. For decades, I lived behind a false survival persona, trapped in cycles of self-doubt, toxic relationships, and unhealthy coping mechanisms. On the outside I appeared agreeable, but inside I carried anger, depression, and a deep sense of unworthiness.
The turning points came gradually: entering 12-Step recovery programs, meeting a supportive partner, and becoming a mother to my two daughters. These moments forced me to confront the painful truth — I had never been given a fair chance to feel safe, carefree, or worthy. My daughters became the catalyst for radical change, inspiring me to reclaim my voice and finally live aligned with my true self.
Through deep personal work, I shed outdated roles and connections, healed old wounds, and transformed my body and spirit. I immersed myself in trauma-informed training, joined high-level masterminds, and began facilitating recovery groups where I developed my own healing framework.
Today, I bring together decades of lived experience with somatic practices and proven modalities to rewire the nervous system. My mission is simple and powerful: to help women end cycles of generational trauma and self-doubt so they can reclaim their voice, step fully into their worth, and create lives that reflect who they truly are — not the wounds of their past.
